- Laura Solomon (Owner of Tybee Oyster Company)
- Laura Solomon is the co-founder of Tybee Oyster Company, Georgia’s first floating oyster farm, and the founder of ECO Georgia, a nonprofit connecting education and community to sustainable aquaculture. A graduate of Georgia Tech (IE ’00) and the University of Virginia (MSEd ’19), she blends strategy, education, and community engagement to support thriving ecosystems and resilient coastal economies. A passionate advocate for learning and environmental stewardship, Laura believes education, both formal and experiential, is generational work that empowers people to understand, care for, and shape the world around them.
