AAEA Annual Meeting

AAEA Annual Meeting took place on July 23-26, 2023 in Washington, DC. 

UGA was represented well with 15 faculty and 19 graduate students presenting papers, posters, and finishing in the top four in the Case Study Competition. 

Jacob Winkles and Vivek Bist, two graduate students in the department, competed in this year’s AAEA Graduate Student Case Study Competition held on Sunday, July 23. The case study centered on product development and profitability of a farm management software program.  Jacob and Vivek made the finals of the competition and placed 4th. They worked really hard, came up with great solutions, and represented the department and university well!
