Research Interests

Research covers various aspects of agricultural technology adoption and natural resource use, primarily in developing countries.  Dr. Magnan is especially interested in the inter- and intra- household processes that affect these outcomes such as diffusion of information through social networks and bargaining between spouses. He uses a combination of observational and experimental data to study these processes.
