Transfer Admissions

Transferring into the University of Georgia

With a flexible curriculum, a tight-knit college experience, and a wide range of courses to choose from, majoring in Agribusiness, Agricultural and Applied Economics, Environmental Economics and Management, or Hospitality and Food Industry Management is a smart choice for transfer students.

Students in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics have various opportunities inside and outside the classroom to enhance their learning experience. Our hands-on learning opportunities allow our students to gain in-depth experience in business, agriculture, environmental science, and hospitality. Meanwhile, our experiential learning opportunities, including internships, research, and study abroad, allow students to apply the knowledge and skills they developed in their courses in real life. Student organizations within the department and the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, like the Environmental Economics Club, help students become more involved in our community.
