Dr. Ferreira is an environmental and natural resource economist. Her research and teaching focus on the intersections between the economy, health, and the environment, spanning Environmental, Natural Resource, and Development Economics. Susana strives to improve our understanding of the economic causes of environmental change and the impact of that change on human wellbeing, with a keen interest in valuing environmental services and externalities not priced through markets.
